I recently moved to this area and decided to try the Valvoline branch at 1132 W Broad St, Falls Church, VA. When I arrived an older employee wearing a Valvoline-branded jacket immediately acted aggressively, yelling at me to park quickly so he could move cars into the shop. The parking lot was crowded and there was no clear place to park. I tried to calmly explain and asked him to speak more respectfully so we could resolve the situation. Instead, he became rude, started swearing, and made discriminatory comments maybe because I appear to be a foreigner. He continued behaving in an unprofessional and hostile manner, including speaking angrily in Arabic. For identification, the employee was very tall, bald, and had a trimmed white beard. Fortunately, a younger employee acted professionally and offered to help, which I appreciated. However, to avoid further rude behavior or escalation, I chose to leave the store and get my oil changed at another shop. I have full dash camera footage of this incident and can provide it if the store requests it. This is a strong brand, but experiences like this can seriously damage customer trust. I recommend being cautious when visiting this location.

I have been coming to George and the guys here for 10+ years for a variety of car ailments across multiple vehicles and realized I have never left a much deserved positive review. As a woman who is not knowledgeable about cars, I have always been leery of estimates made by other mechanics, but not George. He and the mechanics at Valvoline Express Falls Church are honest, trustworthy, speedy, and provide exceptional service at a fair and affordable price. I highly recommend!

This place is incredible, GEORGE! Thank you George, he helped me IMMEDIATELY when I called in and didn’t charge me at all to check out my car. He helped me get what I needed for my drive up to Boston and customers boasted about how they have been coming here for years and trusted GEORGE with their car for YEARS. His energy was so kind and patient, he is the best guy in this area!

The workers here were awesome. Everyone was so helpful and hard working. Got all of my brakes swapped, a tire rotation and oil change. All done in just a matter of 2 hours. And they even worked with me on the price. Won’t take my car anywhere else
