I called Wiygul car clinic on Pickett Street on the morning of Wednesday, February 25, 2026. I spoke with Hank and told him what my issues were with my car. We set up an appointment for Friday morning at 11 AM on 27 February 2026. When I got there, Hank was very nice and friendly and he remembered me and even asked about my dog. I have been having my car serviced there for several years. Hank went with me to my car to check the steering wheel because the issue was that it was shaking. He said that they would check into it. About an hour later he called me and said that my car was fine and that there were no issues with it and they would not charge me for checking it. They have always been very friendly and nice and most of all honest. They are also very transparent in all the maintenance and procedures they do. They even show pictures before and after of repairs.They do not stick you with price gouging or mistreat you of any kind. I would recommend anyone to this place to bring their vehicle there. I have routinely gotten my oil changes, minor repairs, and safety inspections done at Wiygul Automotive (Pickett Street). They have great, frequent discounts and do a good job. The wait time is reasonable. They also offer complimentary shuttle services or Uber if the shuttle isn’t available. There is a TV, free wifi, complimentary coffee and water in the waiting area as well. One time, while I was waiting in their lobby, I heard their service advisors deal with a difficult customer. The customer was rude for no good reason, but the staff, especially Edson, went above and beyond to try work it out with him. Basically, the customer talked badly about the business but kept coming back to get work done, which made no sense. If you do not like a business, no one is forcing you to continue going there and then treat their staff badly. The guy was basically complaining because he wanted free services. As a manager of other businesses, I was thoroughly impressed with the calm manner with which the staff dealt with this rude customer.

This was my first time at Wiygul. I came because of the fabulous reviews. They did an excellent job with my 11 year old Honda Fit. I got a thorough run down of all the issues they noticed, complete with pictures and technical explanations and clear pricing. I was able to say yes to what I wanted with no pressure. The communication & prices felt very honest. They also have some great perks like a loaner car or rides if needed, free lifetime rotation for the full set of tires I bought and warranties on other work performed. I feel confident in their work and delighted to find a group of mechanics I feel good about working with. That it's a local business is an additional bonus. Give them a try!

I’ve visited several Wiygul Automotive Clinic locations for oil changes, and this location in Alexandria stood out for its efficiency and customer service. I was able to secure a same-day appointment, and the entire process was smooth and well organized, with my service completed within an hour. The staff was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I received detailed notes via email outlining preventative maintenance recommendations and my vehicle’s current condition. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase additional services, and the information provided was thorough and helpful. I would confidently recommend this location to anyone in the area.

I had the very best experience here! Hank made the process of getting the required state testing completed so easy! He also helped me get my car’s door handle fixed by ordering the parts quickly and setting up an appointment for the repair. The repair was completed without issue, in a timely manner and for a low price. I am very pleased with the service I received. Thank you so much Hank!!
